Saedu Mubi/Sad Movie (2005)
I’d say one of the saddest, if not the most tear-jerking, movies ever. And I’m not being biased here — since it’s purely based in Korean — but I love how each story is perfectly and expertly interwoven into one huge drama-filled-like-cheese-in-a-hotdog masterpiece.
From the opening scenes until the finale where all your feelings would just plunge due to heaviness of heart, the movie is entirely filmed with innocence and modesty. Although certain parts include subtle indecency, like mild scurrilous languages and inappropriate gestures (you’ll soon find out why), everything is well-seasoned and perfect for family viewing.
